More About Me

Joey Short’s real estate roots run
deep.

“It’s in my blood,” says Joey. “My great-grandfather and grandfather were both
in real estate and had successful careers in Fayetteville. My mother, uncle and
I oversee a property management company that my grandfather created in the
1960s.”

Joey works as an agent on the team with market leader
Coldwell Banker
Sandhills Advantage
in
the greater Fayetteville/Fort Bragg area.

Whether you are a first-time or repeat home buyer, or looking to list a
property for sale, Joey is eager to be your trusted guide.

“I enjoy helping place people in the perfect home that will meet all their
needs, as well as their wants,” he says. “I love hearing their stories –
everyone has reasons for selling or buying a house. … Whether they are looking
for their first home – which is super-exciting – or needing a bigger home
because they are growing their family. Being a small part of helping people achieve
their real estate ambitions is the ultimate goal.”

No stranger to hard work, Joey also has a strong background in business
management and agriculture. He owned a hunting and fishing supply store, managed
a sow farm and supervised three turkey farms. While earning his Bachelor’s
degree in Agricultural Science from N.C. State, he met his future wife.

“My wife works as an associate veterinarian in town. We have two children and
another on the way, live on the outskirts of town, have a dog, cat, several
goats, and chickens. We love the chaos of our lives!”
